MOBILE USERS SCROLL DOWN FOR DESKTOP VIEW OF THIS POST Who do you think deserved to keep the ring? Mo or Q?
In the episode "All This and Turkey, Too", Q returns to L.A. to spend Thanksgiving with Moesha and to ask her for the engagement ring back in order to finance his new group, Wild Life. Moesha feels like she shouldn't have to give Q the ring back because its "a symbol" of their love for one another, Q see's it as a material object and accuses Moesha of being such (materialistic) for refusing to WANT to give it to him (even after he promises to replace it with something better). When it is all said and done, Moesha gives him the ring back but ends the relationship for good.
Do you think Moesha had a point in wanting to keep the ring and helping him finance his group another way? Do you think Q was right in holding a mirror to Moesha for not wanting to part with the ring and then ending the relationship over his request? Do you think Q should have found another way to loan the money to finance his group over asking his fiance to return the ring he gave her? Do you think Moesha should not have had to fight to keep the one true symbol of their love and commitment for one another to pay for her fiance's career?
